Who are we?
String Poets is a group of fine and experienced musicians from Washington DC and Baltimore MD. For the last 10 years, we have been providing high quality music for hundreds of events.
String Poets can provide beautiful music for your special occasion - wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, birthday party, Corporate functions, or house concerts.
We are able to perform in an array of combinations-String Quartet (2 violinists, 1 violist, 1 cellist), String Trio (1 violinist, 1 violist, 1 cellist), String Duo (1 violinist and 1 cellist), Piano Trio (1 pianist, 1 violinist, 1 cellist), Flute Trio (1 flutist, 1 violist, 1 cellist).
We will walk you through every step of the process of choosing the music for your special occasion; from choosing the right ensemble (String Quartet or Flute Trio) to selecting the perfect music.

We also perform with singers woodwind and brass soloists, particularly for wedding ceremonies; as well as a jazz/pop piano trio suited for pre-dinner drinks and dinner music.

We perform with the best orchestras in the area, including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and Concert Artists of Baltimore, MD.We are always reliable and very well presented and aim to provide the highest quality of music for every event for which we are engaged.
What do we do?
We present a wide repertoire of music from pure classical through romantic, and even a little jazz and pop if required. The music we present is always designed to fit perfectly with the atmosphere you wish to create. For example the group is able to produce a high energy performance, which can attract attention but is equally capable of providing the ambient background music required for an intimate dinner gathering.
Cocktail Hour
A string quartet can provide beautiful music as your guests are socializing. Our repertoire ranges from Classical to Modern Jazz, Tango and Classics.
