Since 1998, String Poets Quartet has become the premiere String Quartet for Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Delaware for many events. String Poets have created the perfect musical setting for hundreds of social events by integrating cherished traditions with unique musical selections and by working closely with you to provide just the right music for your event.

We can perform in many different combinations:

String Quartet (two violinists, one violist, one cellist);
String Trio (one violinist, one violist, one cellist);
Flute Trio (one flutist, one violist, one cellist).

Whether the traditional "Here Comes the Bride," the equally beautiful Pachelbel "Canon," or another selection from our extensive repertoire, the sound of String Poets will enrich the atmosphere with an ambiance of elegance and sophistication.

Light classics are best. The music does not demand too much attention, but creates a beautiful background.

We recommend Baroque and early Classical (Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart). After all, many of these pieces were written specifically for these occasions.
